Though I've never played online (and have no idea what kind of connectivity issues exist there, if any) I've never experienced lag within the game outside of what would be considered 'normal.' Of course, like with all PC games, you do actually need to check the hardware and software requirements before pu rchasing. Secondly, the PC version of this game has had many complaints about latency issues. This is easily avoidable by taking care of the controller. They are still playable, though the whammy bar will stop working after continued use (or maybe abuse). Firstly, all of the guitars I've ever used that come with any Guitar Hero games have a tendency to break after a while.
